INFORMA ECONOMICS' FALL OUTLOOK CONFERENCE TO DISCUSS IMPLICATIONS OF
FINANCIAL MARKET CRISIS, NEW ADMINISTRATION'S APPROACH TO GEOPOLITICS
There is widening anxiety that the US financial meltdown will spread across
the globe. This will be a focal point of challenge for the new United States
president, with uncertainty as to what the new administration's approach
will be to geoplitics and, therefore, what the implications will be for
businesses. In addition, the US is undergoing a change in the nature of
commodity futures markets and the issues surrounding futures convergence and
price discovery. How these issues interconnect,
whether the US is in an era of sustainable real values for commodities as an
asset class and what the implications will be for businesses and commodities
will spotlight Informa Economics' 23rd Annual Fall Outlook Conference to be
held November 20-21 at the Hilton Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. In
addition, a timely bonus session will kick off the conference with senior
members of the Informa research team discussing what the next five to 10
years may hold for global agriculture given the current market price levels,
land availability, yield potential, domestic demand and exports.
